During courtship, male iguanas color will turn much brighter. And the bigger the dewlap and jowls, the more handsome and attractive he is to the girls. He has a spot on all of the “Top 10 Sexiest Lizards Alive” lists.
Although he make look a little on the wild side, Nolan is a gentle fellow who loves head scratches. He is one of the most popular ambassadors at our education programs. After kids hear the important role he plays in his environment, they enjoy getting up close and personal with him in supervised interactions.
