Zoo Camp

MEET EXCITING ANIMALS!  HAVE FUN!  BE OUTDOORS!  MAKE NEW FRIENDS!

In our Zoo Camps, your animal loving children (ages 6-12) can see what being a Zookeeper is all about.  Our Junior Keeper-For-A-Day Zoo Camp allows them to participate in a hands-on half day camp that gives each child a unique, up-close and personal experience with the daily activities and responsibilities of being a Zookeeper.

Your child will spend half a day with our staff of biologists, life scientists, and keepers learning about animals from all over the world. Campers will help care for a selection of the 100+ exotic animals that make their forever home at Wild Wonders. Our skilled educators will teach the campers about various adaptations and survival strategies employed by the animals, using fun, interactive games and activities. Our camps include interactions and unique animal encounters with a range of exotic animals.

Zoo Camps are offered on Tuesdays or Thursdays beginning on June 11 and running through August 1.  The price is $90/child/day.

All camps begin at 9AM and run until 1PM.  There will be a break in the middle for the children to have a snack.  Due to the variety of nutrition needs of each child, Wild Wonders asks that the children bring their own snacks.

If your child has a SEVERE allergy, Wild Wonders requires that you stay with your child at the Camp.  You may do so at no cost to you.

See our Zookeeper Mentor Program for young adults (13+).

Cancellation and rescheduling policy:  Zoo Camp reservations are NOT refundable.  If possible, we will attempt to accommodate rescheduling requests received more than 24 hours before the scheduled camp date.  However due to limited dates and maximum number of participants a rescheduling request cannot be guaranteed.
