Rescuing animals is at the core of Wild Wonders’ being. This little guy found his way to us after he was discovered wandering in our local Farmers Market. After a veterinary exam, it was discovered he had head trauma, infections, lungworm and was emaciated.
You can see how tiny he was when we brought him home.
Through LOTS of hard work and love, our tiny opossum channeled his superpower to live. Of course, we had to name him “Jack Jack” after the little fellow from “The Incredibles”.
Opossums are very misunderstood little marsupials. Contrary to what you might think, they are actually very beneficial to us by eating pests that tend to” bug” us in our yards around our homes!
