Junior Keeper for a Day Zoo Camp (ages 6-12)

Zoo Camp will be offered in the Summer.  Check back to find new dates.

If your child wants to be a zoologist, the Junior Keeper-For-A-Day Camp allows them to participate in a hands-on half day camp that gives each child a unique, up-close and personal experience with this exciting career.

Your child will spend half a day with our staff of biologists, life scientists, and zookeepers learning about animals from all over the world. Campers will help care for a selection of the 120+ exotic animals that make their home at Wild Wonders. Our skilled educators will teach the campers about various adaptations and survival strategies employed by the animals, using fun, interactive games and activities. The camp curriculum adheres to national science standards, and includes interactions and unique animal encounters with a range of exotic animals.

Camps begin at 9AM and run until 1PM.  There will be a break in the middle for the children to have a snack.  Due to the variety of nutrition needs of each child, Wild Wonders asks that the children bring their own snacks.

The price is $80/child.  Additional siblings get a 10% discount.

Cancellation policy:  Cancellation requests received less than 24 hours before the beginning of the confirmed Zoo Camp date are not refundable.
