While we’ve welcomed more than 100 animal ambassadors over the years, a few have consistently captured the hearts of our guests. This month, we’re celebrating three of our most popular ambassadors: our irresistibly adorable fennec foxes, charismatic bearcats (binturongs), and curious wallabies.

Fennec Foxes
With their oversized ears, tiny size, and endless energy, our fennec foxes have been winning hearts from the very beginning. Native to the deserts of North Africa, these charming little foxes are proof that big personality can come in a very small package.

Bearcats (Binturongs)
Equal parts curious, cuddly-looking, and unforgettable, our bearcats continue to be one of the most talked-about experiences at Wild Wonders. Their prehensile tails, playful personalities, and famous popcorn-like scent make every encounter memorable.

Wallabies
Gentle, social, and always photogenic, our wallabies have remained guest favorites for decades. There’s something timeless about hand-feeding a wallaby and seeing just how calm and approachable these amazing marsupials can be.
Their popularity goes far beyond their appearance. Every encounter with these remarkable animals provides an opportunity to learn about the challenges wildlife face in the wild and the conservation efforts working to protect them. Through up-close experiences, guests gain a deeper understanding of biodiversity, habitat preservation, and the important role each species plays in its ecosystem.
That’s been a core part of the Wild Wonders mission since 1991. We believe that meaningful wildlife education creates conservation awareness, and conservation awareness inspires action. Whether we’re introducing a child to their first animal ambassador or helping an adult discover a new appreciation for wildlife, every interaction helps build a stronger connection to the natural world.
