Meet Priya the Bearcat
Ever since she made her public debut about two years ago, our youngest bearcat, Priya, has enchanted visitors at Wild Wonders and delighted schoolchildren in our outreach programs.
Even when she was just a month old, Priya was inquisitive, friendly, and very active. We knew immediately that she would grow into a wonderful ambassador for her threatened wild cousins living in the rainforests of Asia.
One of Priya’s favorite activities is her daily walk around Wild Wonders. These walks are part of the enrichment we provide to keep her stimulated, curious, and happy.
You can join Priya on one of those walks during our “Brunch and Walk with Priya” Experience. On weekends, we begin with a light breakfast snack before accompanying her keeper as Priya explores the sights and smells around Wild Wonders. Priya is curious about everything—and she’s always ready to investigate new scents, sounds, and visitors.
