When Jackie Navarro founded Wild Wonders, she set out to make wildlife education engaging, memorable, and accessible. With just a few animal ambassadors, she began visiting local events—sparking curiosity and connection in audiences of all ages.
Fast forward to today, and that original vision is stronger than ever. Wild Wonders is now home to more than 100 animal ambassadors from around the world, and our commitment to education has grown into four dynamic offsite programs:

- Our Big Backyard
- Sonora to Sahara
- The Emerald Forest.
These aren’t just presentations—they’re experiences. Guests don’t just learn about animals; they meet them, observe their unique features up close, and discover the important roles they play in the wild. From seed dispersers to pest controllers to expert burrow builders, each species helps keep its ecosystem in balance.Every year, we bring these programs to more than 400 schools, libraries, scout groups, community events, corporate gatherings, and private celebrations. And time and again, the highlight is the same: that moment of surprise when someone meets an animal they’ve never even heard of before.
Take the Paca, for example. Native to the rainforest, this remarkable animal is known for its beautiful pattern of spots and stripes—and its ability to stay underwater for up to 15 minutes to avoid predators. It’s just one of many unforgettable encounters waiting for you.
